Habitare was founded on a simple belief: the best property decisions begin with better questions.


Over the last twelve years I've advised buyers, sellers and investors across the UK and UAE. Along the way I've learned that successful property investing isn't about finding the loudest opportunity—it's about understanding what you're really buying.


We don't try to be the biggest brokerage in Dubai. We aim to be the firm clients trust when the decisions matter most.

Everything we do is built around independent thinking, honest advice and long-term relationships that continue well beyond completion.

Peter Burns founded Habitare with a simple belief: the best property decisions begin with better questions.


Over the last twelve years, he has advised buyers, sellers and investors across the UK and UAE, working across residential sales, rentals, off-plan developments and portfolio structuring. His experience ranges from helping first-time buyers and families move home to advising high-net-worth individuals and international investors on acquisitions across Dubai's prime market.


Before establishing Habitare, Peter spent six years with haus & haus in Dubai, where he became recognised for his work within the off-plan market and long-term client advisory. Earlier in his career with Bailey & Co. in Northumberland, and later Countrywide in the UK, he developed an approach centred on relationships rather than transactions—an approach that continues to define his work today.


Peter's background extends beyond estate agency. Previous roles within banking and the pharmaceutical sector provided a strong commercial understanding of risk, negotiation, compliance and client management, all of which continue to influence the way he approaches property advisory.


Throughout his career, one principle has remained constant: the transaction is rarely the difficult part. The real value comes from understanding people's objectives, questioning assumptions, and protecting a client's position long after contracts have been signed. Many of his longest-standing client relationships have grown over years rather than months, built on trust, transparency and consistently acting in the client's best interests.


Habitare reflects that philosophy. Rather than focusing on volume, the business was created to provide thoughtful, independent property advice for clients who value long-term relationships, clear communication and commercially grounded decision-making.

Raised in Hong Kong and educated in Canada, Fraser brings an international perspective shaped by experience across Asia, North America and the Middle East. His background in venture capital and business development provides a strong commercial understanding of investment, negotiation and strategic decision-making, allowing him to assess opportunities through both a financial and practical lens.


Since entering Dubai real estate, Fraser has worked across both the primary and secondary markets, advising clients on acquisitions, sales and investment opportunities throughout the emirate. His approach begins with understanding each client's objectives before considering individual properties, ensuring recommendations are aligned with lifestyle, investment goals and long-term strategy rather than short-term market trends.


Fraser's ability to combine analytical thinking with clear communication allows clients to navigate the market with confidence. Whether assisting a first-time buyer or an experienced investor, he focuses on providing balanced advice, honest guidance and commercially sound recommendations that stand up over time.


Like every member of the Habitare team, Fraser believes successful property advice extends well beyond introducing a property. Building lasting relationships through trust, transparency and consistency remains central to the way he works with every client.

Behind every successful transaction is a strong operational foundation.


Tharafe oversees the day-to-day operational and compliance processes that support Habitare's advisory services, ensuring every transaction progresses efficiently from instruction through to completion. Her responsibilities include AML and KYC compliance, RERA and Dubai Land Department coordination, transaction administration, contracts, finance, HR and regulatory documentation.


With experience spanning both developer-side operations and real estate administration across the UAE and Myanmar, Tharafe brings a detailed understanding of the processes that underpin successful transactions. Her methodical approach ensures that clients, developers, brokers and legal representatives remain aligned throughout every stage of the transaction.


While much of her work takes place behind the scenes, it plays a critical role in maintaining the standards Habitare is built upon. Accuracy, organisation and attention to detail allow the advisory team to remain focused on clients, knowing the operational framework supporting every instruction is managed with care and consistency.
